A Day in the Life

A Pathologist is a physician in the medical field who studies the causes, nature, and effects of disease. Pathologists typically work in one of three main areas of discipline: as teachers, investigators, or diagnosticians. Some of their various responsibilities include using laboratory science for disease models and clinical studies, developing treatment options for various diseases, and analyzing types of tissues in order to understand a disease better.
