UPS offers a variety of paid internships and co-ops throughout the summer, fall, and spring. These positions allow you to work on real-life projects that help you expand upon and build your skills as well as serve as an opportunity for a full-time offer at the end of your program.
UPS also offers an internship program called INROADS. originally started in 1996. INROADS is an internship program designed to develop and place talented minority youth in business and industry and prepare them for corporate and community leadership. This program is available for high school and college students.
Types of Internships:
The process can take anywhere from 2 weeks to over 2 months.
1. Initial Phone Interview
The first step of the process is typically a brief phone interview with HR or a recruiter to get an overview of your background and interests to see if you could be a good fit. Some applicants will then have another phone interview, this time with the hiring manager, before moving on to the next step.
2. In-Person Interview
The next step is typically a more in-depth interview on your qualifications. They will ask you more technical questions during this stage.
