What
Nike
Looks For
Nike employs a widely diverse group of people, but the one thing all employees have in common is this: a drive for greatness. That is the backbone of the Nike family. They are looking for collaborative individuals who aim to win as a team but are also able to bring it on their own.
History of
Nike
Founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by Bill Bowerman, a track-and-field coach at the University of Oregon, Nike has certainly come a long way. The company was renamed Nike, Inc. in 1978 and went public two years later. They are now the world’s largest marketer of athletic footwear, holding a global market share of approximately 37%.

Internship Programs
Nike Internship Program
Nike’s internship program is ranked #13 of Vault’s “Most Prestigious Internships”. Nike is drenched in competition, and the fight for an internship position is the same, but it’s well worth it as Nike invests in its talent (including the interns). Interns are paid and involved in real projects, exposed to multiple teams, and a critical part of the Nike community. The available programs are well-structured and give access to leadership and an opportunity to gain meaningful career experience. Students can apply to more than one internship.
