Fidelity National Financial began to take shape in the 1980s when the company Fidelity National Insurance Co. acquired the assets of a small underwriter in Arizona and expanded their business. They made their initial public offering in 1987 and began trading on the New York Stock Exchange in 1992. Currently, Fidelity National Financial is ranked 402nd on the Fortune 500 List and has been on the list for the last twelve years.
