History of


AT&T was originally founded as the Bell Telephone Company in 1885, following Alexander Bell’s patenting of the telephone. Then, AT&T had a monopoly over the phone service industry until 1982. AT&T also began to grow and expand within the United States and Latin America. Now, AT&T trades on the New York Stock Exchange and has offices in 190 countries.

A&T offers paid, eight-to-twelve week summer internships in a variety of different departments. During these programs, interns gain real life experience in their field by working on exciting projects and learning about AT&T’s products and services. Moreover, interns can get a feel for where they might want to start their career by networking with senior executives and exploring different professional specializations. Some of the most popular internship programs are Finance, Sales, Technology Development, Labs, and Leadership. Additionally, these programs are offered in many cities within the United States and often lead to full-time employment.

Video Interview Prescreen with Assessment (if applicable)

In this initial video interview prescreen, you will be asked about your experiences. This is a prescreen to see if you will be a good fit for AT&T. Additionally, you may also be asked to take an assessment so they can get to know you better. This assessment measures skills such as leadership, problem solving, adaptability, among other things.

Phone Interview

In this phone interview, you will be asked about availability, work experience and expectations. Some questions may also be situational and behavioral.
