AT&T was originally founded as the Bell Telephone Company in 1885, following Alexander Bell’s patenting of the telephone. Then, AT&T had a monopoly over the phone service industry until 1982. AT&T also began to grow and expand within the United States and Latin America. Now, AT&T trades on the New York Stock Exchange and has offices in 190 countries.

A&T offers paid, eight-to-twelve week summer internships in a variety of different departments. During these programs, interns gain real life experience in their field by working on exciting projects and learning about AT&T’s products and services. Moreover, interns can get a feel for where they might want to start their career by networking with senior executives and exploring different professional specializations. Some of the most popular internship programs are Finance, Sales, Technology Development, Labs, and Leadership.
