A Day in the Life

Thousands of new products are released every day. But have you ever wondered what actually goes into bringing them to market? Product Marketers are at the forefront of collaborating with engineers and creative teams to help bring a product from concept to commercialization. They're involved in things like pricing, strategy, market analysis, branding, and messaging.

Work Responsibilities

  • Use data and insights to establish the customer outcomes and business opportunities to be achieved through creating and using new data and technology infrastructure
  • Define customer communications program strategies and go-to-market plans to drive and execute integrated go-to-market programs
  • Work with product, engineering, and data science teams to define the roadmaps and technical needs for the execution of new customer communication programs
  • Perform as the central project manager for each communication program, identifying key team members, achieving agreement on your strategies and tactics, and identifying the goals and corresponding roadmaps to get the work done
  • Execute agains the go-to-market plans for each customer use-case on fast-paced timelines, navigating and resolving unforeseen hurdles and the complexities of large cross-functional projects

Skills You'll Need

  • Outstanding cross-functional project manager. Can bring together disparate functions to get things done with an "own it" attitude, on large-scale, complex projects. You can recognize an opportunity and can execute against it
  • Form cross-functional relationships and can influence decisions through compelling data and communication
  • Experience working closely with product, engineering, analytics, and business teams in a fast-paced technology company
  • Experience defining marketing technology and data infrastructure needs
  • Strong strategic problem solver
  • Customer obsessed. Able to connect customer insights and data to drive customer communications strategies
  • Ability to analyze opportunities, define objectives and drive desired outcomes
