A Day in the Life

A Pharmaceutical Sales Representative is someone who is employed by a pharmaceutical company or manufacturer to sell their product. A Pharmaceutical Salesperson interacts with Physicians to educate them on a specific product and then tries to get them to purchase a specific drug or medicine.

Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives spend a lot of time on the road, traveling to meet with Physicians, Pharmacists, and hospital personnel. Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives then have to “sell” their product, which is usually a specific drug or type of medicine. Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives need to convince prospective clients and individuals to buy their product  and also focus on increasing the visibility of the product.
