A Day in the Life

Insurance sales agents work with insurance companies to generate new business by selling different types of insurance, including life, health, and property insurance plans. Insurance sales agents are primarily focused on two tasks: getting new clients to purchase a specific insurance plan or helping to improve the insurance plans of current clients. In order to do this, insurance sales agents spend a lot of time discovering and interacting with clients and researching different insurance strategies.
