A Day in the Life

Civil Engineering is the study of how the built environment works. Civil Engineers not only focus on the creation of new structures but also the maintenance and reinforcement of the existing built environment. This involves studying all of the things that keep our world running, from railways to sewer systems. There are four main specializations of Civil Engineering: Environmental, Structural, Municipal, and Geotechnical.
