History of

TekSystems

Allegis Group, the parent company of TekSystems, was founded in 1983 under the name Aerotek by Stephen Biscotti and Jim Davis in Maryland. The company initially focused on matching job seekers with aeronautics, engineering, and industrial positions. Allegis Group began to expand within the United States and, between 1996 and 2000, renamed the Data Services division as TekSystems, which focused on growing IT marketplace demands. Today, Allegis Group has over 500 offices worldwide.

Internship Programs

Summer Recruiting Internship

TekSystems Summer Recruiting Internship is a 10-week program that takes place between June and august. Interns will go through a formal training to learn the basics of a career in the talent services industry, have access to mentors within the industry to help interns complete long-term projects and small assignments, as well as get exposure to recruiters, account managers, and leadership within the company.

Interview Process

1. A phone screen interview

In this initial phone screen interview, you will be asked behavioral questions. This phone screening is for the interviewer to try to get a sense of how you will fit in within the company.

2. Two in-person interviews

The first in-person interview is typically conducted by the account managers in the office, while the second in-person interview is conducted by the regional Director of Business Operations.
