Synchrony was actually founded in 1932 as GE Capital Retail Bank and has over 75 million customers today. Synchrony has 19 offices in the US and is also located in India and the Philippines. Business Leadership Program

Synchrony's Business Leadership Program is a two-year, three-rotation program offered to graduates to develop skills and accelerate careers

BLP Internship Program

Synchrony offers the BLP Internship to rising juniors and seniors along with first year graduate students. This program is a 10-12 week internship and students may receive an offer for the Business Leadership Program at the completion of their internship.

BLP Advanced Scholarship

Focused on inclusion and diversity, applicants will receive a scholarship, six-week virtual mentoring program and an invitation to the global diversity symposium.

BLP Sophomore Externship

Synchrony also offers a 4-day immersive externship program located in Stamford, CT for sophomores.

Interview Process

The internship application process opens in the fall for Synchrony.

1. Initial Phone Screen

The first step is typically an initial phone screen with a recruiter to briefly go over your background and interests to see if you should be moved forward. It will be about 30 minutes and consist of just your typical behavioral interview questions.

2. Interview(s)

The next step is a round of interview(s) with recruiters and managers to evaluate knowledge and company fit. In-person interviews will depend on the location of applicants and career fairs that Synchrony recruiters attend.
