Interview Process

The recruitment season is from August-November and the interview process can last between 1-6 weeks.

1. Phone Interview with Recruiter

This short interview will be with a Recruiter where they will go over your background, what you know about Okta, and your overall goals.

2. Phone or Video Interview with Hiring Manager

This 30 minute interview is the second stage, which will be done by a Hiring Manager. In this interview the Hiring Manager will dig into your background a bit more, go over your experience, and talk about what you know about Okta.

3. Interview with another Hiring Manager

This interview will be similar to the second interview and will be conducted by another Hiring Manager where they will go over your background, experience, and Okta.

4. Technical Challenge

After the initial screenings, you will have about 2 weeks to complete Okta’s technical challenges. Out of 20+ challenges, you will be asked to complete a minimum of 4. You will be asked to present the challenges you’ve chosen to the Hiring Manager and a few seniors managers.

5. In-person Interview

If you pass the Technical Challenge, you will most likely be asked to go to the headquarters to meet with a few people you will be working closely with, plus test you to see what you actually know.
