Internship Programs

iAspire Internship Program

For Illumina’s iAspire Internship Program, Undergraduate students need a minimum 3.2 GPA or higher to be considered. Internship opportunities in our APAC and EMEA regions are posted October through December with February assessment events. Illumina’s iAspire Internship Program welcomes students to work alongside Illumina engineers, scientists, and corporate employees, experiencing the lively pace of genomic innovation.

Interview Process

Video Interview with HireVue

This initial video interview will be with HireVue where they will ask behavioral questions. Some applications pursuing scientific research roles reported a couple questions about biology on the video interview. 

Phone Interview with a Hiring Manager or Recruiter

This second round interview will be with the Hiring Manager or Recruiter regarding your specific work experience, as well as any technical experience relevant to the position.

In-person Screening

The top 2 candidates will go through this final in-person screening. This final interview will include events with group activities, a presentation and 30-minute interview with the Hiring Manager.
