Cadence Design Systems, Inc is an electronic design automation (EDA) software and engineering services company that was founded in 1998 as the result of the merger of SDA Systems and ECAD. For years, it had been the largest company in the EDA industry producing software for designing chips and circuit boards. They are headquartered in San Jose, California and operate in 21 countries with 26 global R&D centers.

Interview Process

Most applicants interviewed between April and May (both tech and non-tech roles). 

1. Phone Interview

The first step of the interview process is an initial phone screen to quickly go over your background and interests to see if you're a good fit.

2. In-Person Interview

The next step of the interview process is a more in-depth interview. Questions will consist of a mix of behavioral and technical to better assess your qualifications and fit.
