Originally founded in 1919, Baird has offices all around the world. In 1928, Baird was the first company to accomplish transatlantic transmission of television.

Internship Programs

Baird Internship Program

Baird offers both summer-only and year-round internship opportunities that are paid. Summer-only interns can expect to work full-time for 10 weeks, typically starting the last week of May through the second week of August. Year-round interns work full-time over the summer and part-time during the school year. Internships can last from 10 weeks to two years, depending on graduation date, workload, and intern performance.


Historically, about 40% of interns have converted into full-time positions.
