History of
Allstate
Allstate was founded in 1931 as an automobile insurance company that operated through the company Sears. Allstate opened its first sales office in Chicago and quickly began to sell different insurance products, like homeowners and life insurance. In 1993, Allstate went public after Sears began to sell its stake in the company. Allstate subsequently developed as an independent company and now is one of the leading insurance companies.

Summer Internship Program
Allstate’s Summer Internship Program typically lasts around 10-12 weeks and is offered in a variety of different departments. Students participating in the program have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in college within a professional environment. Interns get to work on real projects and get to familiarize themselves with the Allstate’s goals, initiatives, and corporate culture.
Rotational Development Program
Allstate’s Rotational Development Program is a year-long program that is offered to recent college graduates. The program allows graduates to explore different departments within the company and to understand Allstate from different perspectives. Moreover, people participating in the program are able to further develop their professional and leadership skills and gain responsibility within Allstate. The four divisions of the Rotational Development Program are Leadership, Technology, Investments, and Finance.
