A Day in the Life

Accountants essentially keep track and record the flow of money within an organization. They make sure that all money transactions are legal and accurate and often work on a contractual basis to complete tax returns for clients.

Accountants typically use financial statements and equations to determine the financial health of an organization. Some of their other daily tasks include recommending changes to budgeting, providing data on how a business is doing over time, and maintaining Payroll information.
